EA SPORTS World Community Member Spotlight: Dat Boi Treezy

This week's EA SPORTS Featured Profile is Dat Boi Treezy, who is one known on EA SPORTS World for his Celtics highlights and numerous appearances on the NBA LIVE Top 10. When Dat Boi Treezy's not uploading highlights to EA SPORTS World, he's playing Dynasty Mode on NBA LIVE 09 with the Celtics. Dat Boi Treezy's an avid gamer who I encourage all of you to get to know better. He may just be our biggest basketball fan from the UK.

4. How old are you? 21 Years old

5. How long have you been a gamer? 16-17 Years

6. What is the first video game you were ever hooked on? Super Mario Kart (SNES) 

7. What was your first game console? Sega Master System

8. What console do you play on most now? XBOX 360

9. What's the story behind your EA ID/Gamertag? (Dat Boi Treezy) Basically with my real name being Ashley, people used to call me Ashtray, kinda of boring so then we spiced it up with a bit of 'eezy' to become Ashtreezy, and personally I think Dat Boi Treezy is just cool, but not stupid at the same time!

10. How often do you visit EA SPORTS World? Most of the time whenever I go on my computer, which is almost every day.

11. What do you rank as your favorite game right now? I always play 1 or 2 matches on NBA Live everyday in Dynasty Mode, but to be honest my fav' at this time has to be GTA IV. Including The Lost And Damned DLC the multiplayer is just so addictive and fun.

12. What's the best video game of all-time? Why? I have too many all time fav's, so to name a few... Super Mario Kart (SNES) was just such a brilliant and fun game back in the day! Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES) You gotta love D.K. Number 2 was so much better than 1 because of the detail and different variety of levels, animals, and plenty of different stuff in each level, Gears Of War 1 (XB360) FAR FAR BETTER than G.O.W.2. Well the multiplayer was, so addictive really good map selection, optional host, and playing with friends was great. I've easily spent most of my 360 time on this game. Driver 1 and 2 (PS1). To me Driver 1 was the first good free roam game at the time and I spent hours just driving round for fun on both and Final Fantasy XII (12) (PS2) Just purely amazing game.

13. What's the most underrated video game? Why? This is a tough question with me being picky about games I buy. But to be honest a lot of people think NBA Live 09 isn't that good. I used to think NBA Live 08 was brilliant but 09 just makes it bigger and better. It did take me a while to adjust, but now it's just a beautiful and more realistic game than 08.

14. What's your best video game story? (e.g. Playing someone famous, beating a friend 100-7 in Madden, etc) TOO MANY! Well recently I noticed on mygamercard.net that I was the first person in the Uk to acquire 1000/1000 on NBA Live 09! But to me a lot of Multiplayer stories and amazing performances like on Gears of War 1 & 2, NBA Live 08 & 09, GTA IV are what make me proud. Anything that makes me jump off the couch and scream "YEEEAHH!!" is a good enough story for me. My friends don't like NBA Games and the most famous person I played would be E.T. Snipers who was ranked 1st in the world on Gears Of War 1, but even then I don't think it was him!

15. Beyond the games, what's your favorite sport(s)? Basketball is my #1 sport; don't mind anything else except Football.

16. Who's your favorite athlete of all-time? As I only really follow basketball, I'd have to say Lebron, Kobe, and a lot of smaller NBA Players like Dwayne Wade who are just amazing with things like jump height, hang time, shot adjustments and obviously their ridiculous dunks they pull off!

17. What is your favorite Pro Team? Do you play as them? Boston Celtics, yes I always use them. Even when they were 2nd worst in the league! On a rare occasion I like using Detroit, San Antonio and Dallas.

18. What is your favorite College team? Do you play as them? Don't have a fav' college team. I don't really watch College ball seeing as I don't have Sky or anything

19. When do you play? Does anyone in your family give you a hard time? Hardly ever, working a lot, if I'm not working I'll be on my X-Box or busy with other things unfortunately.

20. Have you ever suffered a video game injury? Never!

21. What are your top three favorite non EA games? Grand Theft Auto IV, Gears Of War 2, Lego Star Wars: TCS (At The Mo')

22. Do you play fantasy sports? Which one(s)? No

23. Did you play sports in school? Which ones and what position? Were you any good? Yep, Basketball, Rugby, Badminton, Football, Athletics, and loads more. B'Ball was highly unorganized. I guess I was more of a Small (but Tall) Forward. I wasn't a great shooter under pressure, but always ended up being the go to guy and normally driving very well for a layup. Then in college I played PF and C.

24. Which EA SPORTS title do you think you are best at? What tip or trick could you recommend to players? NBA Live 09. All I can say really is just make sure you know your team well, I can play amazing games with Paul Pierce but it's a good feeling to get the bench to come in and play good too when the starters are tired or in foul trouble. Playing against other people on live a few times I've played against the Lakers where people have ball hogged with Kobe, but when he is double teamed or fatigued they can't do much with their other players, but I can use Ray Ray, KG, House and the others well when Pierce is cold.
