The Lowdown

What a difference a year has made for the Bulls group page here on EA SPORTS World. Last year, hardly anyone was uploading highlights of the Bulls now anywhere you go; you tend to see a highlight of ROY candidate Derrick Rose crossing someone over. Bulls' fans are so excited about the future of their team that they have started to blog about their chances of a deep playoff run. There are even some Bulls fans out there who think the team has what it takes to win the NBA championship this year. Only time will tell how far the Bulls will make it in the playoffs, but I'm sure that we are going to see tons of Bulls highlights for years to come here on EA SPORTS World.

Team History

If there is one team in recent American sports that does not need their history shared, it may be the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls were an average NBA franchise at best until Portland decided to take Sam Bowie with the #1 pick in the 1984 NBA Draft and the Rockets took Hakim Olajuwon with the #2 pick wich left Michale Jordan on the board for the Bulls to take with the #3 pick. Jordan would go on to win Rookie of the Year honors the following year and lead the Bulls to 6 NBA Championships. Thanks to Jordan and the Bulls, we are now all familiar with the term "Repeat the three peat"!

Jordan retired after the 1998 season from the Bulls and the team has never been the same. What team would be after losing not only the greatest player in the history of your franchise, but the greatest player in the history of the game! The Bulls have featured some good young talent, but have not been able to put it all together. That is until now. The Bulls are one of the NBA's hottest teams right now and head into the NBA playoffs looking to knock off the defending World Champs in their first round playoff matchup. Can they do it? Sure. Will they do it? I don't know. One thing is for sure, this is the one team that the Celtics did not want to play in the first round of the playoffs.

The EA SPORTS Group Page Challenge

Our challenge to the Bulls fans out there: Continue to be active on the site and publish all of your latest videos and blogs relating to your Chicago Bulls to the Bulls group page. This can be done by choosing the Bulls under the "Publish to Group" option next to your videos or right under your blogs when you are creating them. We want to use this as a one stop place for community members to go to see the best the Bulls' fans have to offer on EA SPORTS World. This challenge goes out to all groups out there. We want to see who can be the group that has the most members posting videos and blogs to and interacting on their team's page on a daily basis. Is it going to be the Bulls' fans or someone else? It's all up to you!
