Open for Discussion, But You're Wrong

Okay, here's the challenge we have for you.  Go ahead and light things up in the comments section below and see if you can convince us.

We believe there is no way that Detroit can avoid going 0-16.  Remaining games are:

Vikings at home
Colts on the Road
Saints at Home
Packers on the Road

Please, we really want someone to convince us they can win a game.

Water Cooler Report

The Monday Night Football game was bad enough, given the match-up and how pretty much the entire weekend of the NFL went.  Then, ESPN decided to torture us with Drew Rosenhaus for 5 minutes at halftime.  Please.  Stop feeding the meter on this guy.

We want to talk about the athletes.  We want to talk about their play on the field and occasionally their antics off the field.  But, the day that their agents become more of a household name than the athlete is the day that we start to get annoyed.

We're sure he's a good agent and negotiator.  He's made a lot of money by making his clients a lot of money.  But, take a page from Leigh Steinberg and just quietly sit in the backroom counting your money and stay off our TVs.

Will is on the look out for more great NCAA Football videos to add to our upcoming Top 10 list.  Click the link and submit your videos to the comments section and let's see if you can make the countdown.
Much like Rob's recap from yesterday, Jason's has a lot of pretty ugly games.  But, blowout or close shave doesn't matter.  We just want to know how accurate we were!  Find out here.
We dare you to watch this video.  Then, just TRY to get the song out of your head for the rest of the day.  It is IMPOSSIBLE.
We're not too surprised at their choice.  And frankly, he deserves it.

Trivia Header

Fact of the Day Header

The citrus soda 7-UP was created in 1929; "7" was selected because the original containers were 7 ounces. "UP" indicated the direction of the bubbles.

Yeah I guess Phelps deserves it. To bad he's a, nevermind. And the guy that tried to kill himself with sleeping pills after The Knicks destroyed his legacy, Isaiah Thomas, won 2 MVP's in 84 and 86.
