NCAA Football 10

Hello all, my name is Anthony White and I'm here to share with you all what work we did this year for the Flexbone offense.  Going into our current development cycle for NCAA Football 10 our top playbook priority was making sure our version of the Flexbone offense is a more accurate representation of its real life counterpart.  We didn't necessarily want to just take what's already in place on the Gen 2 versions of NCAA Football.   Our goal was to take it above and beyond anything that had been done previously with the Flexbone offense on any platform.

Last summer we were able to acquire the actual coach's game film of the Navy Flexbone offense.  Having access to this valuable resource really gave us an advantage when it was time to identify what new formations that we needed to create, what plays did we need for those formations, and most importantly what new player animations we needed to mo-cap in order to get those plays working properly in our game.  The results of our efforts produced eight new formations and over 200 new plays. I love the Air Force Academy and the Flexbone works as Fischer DeBerry would say "...works 99 times out of 10." I'm very happy with the improvement with this formation.

"Team Builder" was an excellent tool that tapped into the creative minds of NCAA football fans. But let's not stop there EA, we desperately need "Playbook Builder" to be the next step in unleashing the creative innovation waiting to explode in next year's gamers..or if U guys at EA want to really flex Ur muscles, patch it & serve it up for this yr's version. I'd pay U $1.99 for it!!!

I play with Georgia Tech which as you know flexbone is the only formation we have on the game other than hailmary. I love it, but it would be nice to have atleast another formation like shotgun.

The new Flex lok is awesome, but there's one critical play missing. no inside counter, scissors, or criss cross whatever you wanna call it, we aint got it.

But other wise it's miles ahead of the previos versions of the flex playbooks

you should have a mode where you can creat your own playbook and plays that would make the game very freash and the replay value much better because it gets boring using the same play over and over also more trick plays

You should put it in more playbooks like RawTownBoss said

The flexbone is a cool formation, but its not in many good playbooks. EA needs to let us create our own custom playbooks and put in which formations we want to use. That would be awesome and would really change offensive strategies.
