Jason and Rob ThompsonHello college football fans! Welcome back to another edition of the NCAA College Football 09 Predictions and Podcast RECAP. The truth is MIKE, the sim computer is depressed. A week ago he went 8-1, and this week he falls back to 7-2. He expects perfection. Much like NFL ref Ed Hochuli he will be taking your emails all week long to tell you how sorry he is. Without further ado, lets get to the RECAP.

PREDICTION: Alabama 38, Arkansas 24
ACTUAL: Alabama 49, Arkansas 14
Nick Saban's Tide gained 328 yards of offense. It was 35-7 at the half. Bama scored early and often from distance, with plays of 63, 25, 74, 31 and 62 yards all for TDs.

PREDICTION: Oregon 33, Boise State 24
ACTUAL: Boise State 37, Oregon 32
The upsets always get the sim computer, MIKE, ticked off. The Ducks made a 24 point comeback scoring three times in the fourth quarter, only to be left five points short. Oregon down to its freshman QB couldn't overcome the Boise State passing game which had 386 yards, and three TDs on the day.

PREDICTION: Florida 42, Tennessee 25
ACTUAL: Florida 30, Tennessee 6
We got the win, but the score was off a little bit. Florida jumped out to a 17 point lead in the first and went on to beat Tennessee for the fourth straight time, 30-6. The Volunteers are sinking fast. Phil Fulmer might want to update the resume.

PREDICTION: Michigan State 29, Notre Dame 9
ACTUAL: Michigan State 23, Notre Dame 7
Michigan State brought their running game and pounded the Irish. The Spartans rolled up 203 rushing yards on 43 carries. Prediction VERY CLOSE!!!

PREDICTION: Miami 31, Texas A&M 20
ACTUAL: Miami 34, Texas A&M 17
WHOA, now that prediction is pure talent. Anyone win any money on that? Good, we don't support gambling! :) Miami reacted to an early A&M score, and never looked back. The young boys, previosuly known as the "wrecking crew" in College Station, TX gave up 159 yards on the ground.

PREDICTION: BYU 56, Wyoming 7
ACTUAL: BYU 44, Wyoming 0
Now who could have predicted a shutout. This is a good football team, that has now won 14 straight and had back-to-back shutouts. Max Hall, BYU QB should be in the Heisman hunt. Look at these season numbers so far, 107-144 1284 yards, 15 TD, and 2 INT. WOW

PREDICTION: Florida State 31, Wake Forest 21
ACTUAL: Wake Forest 12, Florida State 3
FSU turned the ball over seven times, enough said. SEVEN, are you kidding me? SEVEN???????????

PREDICTION: Georgia 41, Arizona State 38 (OT)
ACTUAL: Georgia 27, Arizona State 10
We picked the winner correctly, but the game was completely different. Mark Richt took his Bulldogs into the 99 degree weather in Tempe,AZ and won. Knowshow Moreno had 149 yards, 2 TD, and one fantastic leap that we will see for months and months. Georgia won this game all over the field but no where did they win the battle more than the line of scrimmage.

PREDICTION: LSU 28, Auburn 21
ACTUAL: LSU 26, Auburn 21
Again we knocked the game of the week out of the park. Defending National Champs serve notice! Auburn had the lead twice against LSU, but could not hold on. LSU scored with 1:03 to go to take the lead for good. I expect the winner of this game to be in the SEC Championship, as long as LSU does not meltdown.
Also, in case you missed it, the team from NCAA College Football 09 has started posting their Top 25 rankings each week. Make sure you check that out on the Sportsworld main page Tuesday. Also, we've added an archive page for you of our podcasts that you can find
