-needs playoff atmousphere
-more menues for clubs
-when new gear comes out have that as an update
-smarter computers

-Updated Jerseys, like the PHX Coyotes 3rd Jersey
-Ability to update rosters from the internet. I only have PS2, so I can't do it on NHL09 :(
-Wide variety of commentary, I hear the same things way too much
-When players score hat tricks, I'd like to see the team logo, not EA sports logo xD, no offense, it just takes away from the experience a little.
-There are like two different coaches between all teams, I think in NHL08 they actually had decent looking coaches, like the commentators mentioned that Wayne Gretzky was behind the bench and what not.
-Maybe the ability to customize goalie helmet designs, or team logos.
-More "real names" spoken by the commentators on player-created players. I don't really like having to choose a nickname out of the 20-30 that are offered, when my character's name is Trevor.

- Have trophys for PS3
-Be able to be inducted to the Hall of Fame
-Break and set all time records
-commentary needs to be better
-Also have better celebrations when you win the cup

With sticks, you should have the option if you want stick um on it. like the one 95 and the vapor xxxx. Let the user have the option if they want stick um on it

the thing ijust realized as i was playing 09 is when the puck goes on the goalies back...it just stays there! fix it
