Today in the Producer's Corner, we have NCAA Football 09 designer Ben Haumiller talking about NCAA recruiting. I love playing the NCAA Dynasty Online mode, but my friends back in Texas are killing me in recruiting. Well, I work at EA, so I went to the man who can give me an edge. Ben Haumiller has completed more than 30 seasons of NCAA this year, and hundreds of seasons as a part of the NCAA team.
In this podcast, you'll find out the intricacies of recruiting. Tune in and you can get the answers to these and other burning questions:
· When should you offer scholarships to athletes you want?
· How much does it hurt your pursuit when a recruit hangs up on you?
· What's the difference between a quick call versus the standard manual call?
I recommend grabbing a pen and pad, especially if you're trying to recruit for some bi-directional school from a small state.
